阿旺金饭 Nasi Lemak Ong (Location Map)
“ Nasi Lemak Ong” 正是由人称Ah Ong (阿旺)的王治錠夫妇所经营。 眼明手快的阿旺负责帮忙顾客选菜和调配咖喱酱汁，而太太则忙着记账收钱。
餐台上诱人惹味的菜式，种类多不胜数，再加上店家下足本钱烹煮的金黄椰浆饭，饭香 扑鼻，叫人看一眼，马上就胃口大开了。
尽管阿旺椰浆饭的饭摊，看起来就像一般经济杂菜饭摊，可是这10年来，几乎天天都叫食客心肝情愿地排队品尝，就连友 族同胞，也难以抗拒。
《烤蜜汁鸡》是食客的最爱之一，店家用蜂蜜、酱油、糖等调味料腌制，然后放到烤箱里烤，烤到一半，还会再刷上一层腌料，再回炉烤至通透入味。出炉时颜色红润微焦，表皮闪着漂亮的光泽，像是才刚刚漏着油、滴着蜜，叫人忍不住马上就要咬下一口，吃起来肉嫩多汁，甜而不腻，蜜香四溢，肯定让人百吃不厌。
阿旺的拿手好菜多得不得了，几乎每一道菜都有他们的忠实拥护者。而食客不单爱吃他的菜，更绝对信任他调配咖喱酱汁的功夫。
不同的食客，不同的口味要求，不同的咖喱酱汁，不同的分量，阿旺老板舀起来胸有成竹，气定神闲，动作还非常地利落潇洒！
“咖喱”这个词，源自古印度语，指的是由多种不同肉汁或酱汁搭配米饭或面包的一种主食。而阿旺老板更是坚持每一天都亲手烹煮至少6种不同的咖喱酱汁，用以搭配他和太太两人炮制的30多种菜式。
印度咖喱成功的秘诀，并不是复杂炫丽的烹调技巧，而是在于多种香料的分量组合与下锅的顺序，不过就如同阿旺老板一样，一般炮制印度咖喱的主厨，都没有任何标准食谱来记录香料的成分分量，反而强调的是个人的独特风格与创意，换句话说这一切都是独家秘方。
每一天清晨四点，阿旺老板的厨房就会炊煙冒起，水熱油燙，夫妇俩手勤脚快地烹煮出一道又一道食客爱吃的菜肴。
真的没夸张，老板阿旺夫妇在厨房内简直像是和时间赛跑一样，从清晨4点到准备出发开档前的11点钟之间，他们一刻也不能停下来，就连做访问，也要边做边煮。
《咖喱鱿鱼》 店家下足多种香料炒制而成的咖喱，香浓呛鼻，加入了新鲜鱿鱼拌炒 ，马上叫人食欲和神经都一起兴奋起来，鱿鱼肉身鲜甜爽脆有嚼劲，连同红彤彤的咖喱酱汁捞饭吃，对无辣不欢的食客来说，绝对是天下美味。
《金黄椰浆饭》是店家加入了椰浆、植物奶油、黄姜、香茅、咖喱叶、桂皮、八角、丁香和香叶等多种香料，烹煮而成，色泽金黄诱人，香味扑鼻。
阿旺老板一直以来都坚持在托盘上铺上香蕉叶，盛装椰浆饭，香蕉葉一葉攤展，用来容納美食美味，最天然的綠色，不只構築了視覺上原創的自然颜色，还为美食添加了一抹幽香。
《香炸塘虱》新鲜山水塘虱虽然样子并不怎么讨好，可是下锅炸得金黄色之后，马上摇身一变成为食客的最爱之一，味道咸香鲜甜，每咬一口都酥脆喷香。
原来阿旺老板的一身好厨艺是师承自槟城的印裔回教徒，难怪他卖的椰浆饭虽然叫椰浆饭，却流露着一份印裔回教徒nasi kandar的风味。Nasi Kandar （扁担饭）的色香味精华正是潜藏于各种不同的咖喱酱汁里。
这真的是青出于蓝胜于蓝，阿旺老板从一个对烹饪一窍不通的货车司机，到如今成为许多人追捧的咖喱高手，他的故事告诉我们：没有任何手艺是学不来的。

Ha…I’m alor star ppl, its argubly the BEST in town!!! Normally hawker lost a lot of regular customer when they move places, but this one…ppl follow him everywhere he moves…:D

我昨天下亚罗士打总于给我吃到了！它的加哩真的是一流，价钱也很公道，但好可惜吃不到炸鱼已卖完了！我再下亚罗士打时一定再去吃。真好吃。饭最特别。

那天回alor setar 终于再次的到哪里去吃了，和老板小聊了一下下，原来已经搬到这里两年了，我的天啊！！
不知是不是因为啊贤的关系，到哪里的人好像比以前多了，我们还得排队大概十五到二十分钟才可以吃到呢！！

Axian,this ong nasi lemak which serves by a chinese is not the best in alor setar.the best in alor setar was at the same place but open only at night at the end of the same row of shops few years ago.this chinese nasi lemak was operated by husband n wife team but i last heard that the wife had passes away n no news after that.any one who stay in alor setar know about them?please tell me.if only u have eaten his nasi lemak will never try someone else! i say that bcos i left alor setar for more than 10 years n i never failed to visit this stall when i m in alor setar bcos it was cheap n very nice!

i am from alor setar myself… nasi lemak ong is one of the best nasi lemak…i like his sepat goreng… went home last weekend but the place is packed.. my dad says after axian’s visit, the place is packed every day… hope the standard won’t drop because of increase in customer…

I took the afford to travel to Alor Star all the way from Penang Island but then it was very disappointing. The curry there is not spicy at all eventhough we ask them to add more spicy. Maybe Kedah people do not take that spicy.The owner says that he has a few levels of spiciness but then it really not spicy at all. The honey and curry chicken is very hard. He call it nasi lemak but the rice is not lemak rice. How wierd! Will not go there again. Simply disappointing. Guys don’t waste you time and money to go there.
Just ate last week..that is not the taste i want…want to find back the taste few yrs ago which it sold at only a small stall and under a big tree….and sold by different person oso..besides this, around jln putra there oso got 1 stall selling nasi lemak..CHUAN BEE Restaurant.. if not mistake…selling by an Indian…many people oso..
I purposely went back to ALOR SETAR to EAT the NASI LEMAK but I went there 2 times the stall also didn’t open. I tried to call the handphone number as shown in http://www.axian788.com but there is not one answer the call. Finally, my aunty successfully called him but he answer the call very rude.
End up we didnt eat at the stall as the customer service is not as good as it shown.
I will recommend another nasi lemak stall at Alor Setar but it only open at 7pm. It is called NASI LEMAK ROYALE near the BANGUNAN HIJAU KUNING (Beside BHP Petrol Station).
Try the nasi lemak hijau kuning, its not bad.
