驻守在这家怡园茶室最前端的高佬沙河粉，据说自1930年代就开始营业。成立将近80年以来，高佬沙河粉的招牌沙河粉、蚝面、滑蛋河以及福建炒等面食，早已经成为好几代人从小吃到大的美食记忆。原来现任摊主是高佬沙河粉的第三代传人，碰巧也是高佬的他，接手经营这摊沙河粉也有10年了。
沙河粉薄而透明，质地爽韧，看起来感觉像云又像雾。有人甚至说，如果米粉和面条是实的，那么河粉便是虚的。尽管质地水柔的沙河粉，特别容易扯破，可是现任高佬炒制沙河粉却一点都不温柔，反而激情万分！在热油翻炒之间，在滚滚浓烟下，不一会就把沙河粉炒得微微卷边，锅气十足 。

阿贤带你到偏僻的地区品尝40多年历史的沙爹。在这个人烟稀少的地方，没有人会想到，竟然有一家人气不遑多让的食店，卖的不是烤香的沙爹，而是马来西亚古城马六甲极具代表性的美食—沙爹朱律（satay celup）。 枝枝串串的涮料，投入不停翻滚的沙爹汤酱，叫人难以抗拒。要浓要淡，要甜要咸，要辣不辣，店家随时帮你调制。
原来这家店来头不小，许多马六甲人对沙爹朱律的最初印象，便是从这家老店开始的。问题多多的阿贤更在节目中尝试从忠实顾客口中找出沙爹朱律到底源自何方。

从早上7点开始营业的这摊开记云吞面，每一天做生意只是短短的4个小时。可是面摊从开始营业直到打烊的几个小时之内，顾客总是络绎不绝，现场更是人声鼎沸，好不热闹！原来摊主和伙计从不写订单，顾客点的面，无论是干是汤、是单是双、是普通或是加料，全都记在脑海里，所以伙计们需要不时地张望四周，不停地叫嚷，以免遗漏掉任何顾客的订单。

这家华绅风味食馆，早在1990年代便已经是远近驰名的传统福建菜馆，可是在7年前，店主把餐馆搬到了新村附近相对比较不显眼的地点，最终餐馆不只设在毫无地理优势的二楼，而且更叫人不解的是，店家还取了一个新店名，仿佛是要以一家全新餐馆的姿态重新出发，但是如此一来，用了10几年光景打造的福建菜老招牌，便如同人间蒸发一样，从此和许多常客失去联络了好长一段时间。
